Larry's Fault Challenge | AI Motion at the Museum

2026

Project Overview

Answer with your body in a rhythm-inspired museum game about earthquakes. P.Do led game design and software development in collaboration with Wudao Culture. The main game, Larry's Fault Challenge, uses a standard camera and YOLO Pose recognize O/X gestures from multiple visitors, turning a question bank into a shared live experience. In the companion game, Larry's Plate Clash, participants follow pose prompts and compete on speed and accuracy; their combined scores create a new fault. Animation informed by real fault data explains normal, reverse and strike-slip faults and the relative movement of the hanging wall and footwall. Visitors draw a fault card from a fault database and take it home on a downloadable certificate. The system also includes bilingual question management, scoring, a captive portal for local certificate downloads, and an image stylization workflow built with ComfyUI and Stable Diffusion.

Experience Design

+
  • 01Turned museum quizzes into a multiplayer O/X motion game
  • 02Developed a two-player pose battle around earthquake learning
  • 03Used real data to visualize fault types and geological movement
